The Cambridge CLT is a community-led non-profit organization that removes property from the market and keeps it a community asset, creating and maintaining permanently affordable housing and community-determined spaces for the Cambridge community.
The Cambridge Community Lant Trust (CLT) came out of a working group of the Cambridge Housing Justice Coalition (CHJC). CHJC is made up of community members and representatives from various local nonprofits and advocacy organizations who believe that housing is a human right and advocate for affordable housing for people over profit.
